We are seeking an experienced Offshore Operations Technician II to support our WGOM Offshore Operations, Assets, and Maintenance Tasks based at our Williams GA:A244 junction platform. This role will be responsible to perform tasks related to Offshore Platform Operations, Pipeline Operations, Maintenance/Measurement tasks, and other functions as required. This individual should have the ability to work in an offshore environment as this job will require travel offshore with a 14 on 14 off schedule.
:Complete Regulatory Compliance and related Documentation, i.e. USCG, BSEE, DOT. Ensure Facilities are being operated safely, efficiently, and within Williams policy guidelines.
:Assist in performing routine inspections, maintenance and calibration of equipment related to quality and quantity determination for Oil and Gas Measurement. Become familiar with and learn Gas and Liquid sampling systems, OMNI, Flow Automation, and Daniels EFMs and associated metering.
:Perform General Maintenance including but not limited to Launching/Receiving Oil/Gas Pigs, Chemical Injection Operations, Crane Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, etc.
:Perform maintenance and repair of valves and related operators.
:Perform Various Inspections, i.e. Annual Valve, Monthly fire extinguisher, etc.
:Support mechanical, instrumentation, and control activities associated with Platform Operations, Field Gathering, and Pipeline Systems.
:Participate in data gathering, reporting functions, plant start:ups, plant shut downs, maintenance tasks and assist in justifying future projects.
:Work overtime, during nights, weekends and holidays
:Have the ability to work under limited supervision as needed.
:Supervise the work efforts of maintenance crews of William's employees and outside contractors
:Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
:Have (5) + years offshore experience.
:Have strong organizational and communication skills
:Work shift work when required to meet business needs
:Experience with internal and external corrosion protection is a plus.
:Recognize the goals of the organization and effectively communicate them to fellow employees.
:Must have the capacity to pass Crane Operator Certification.
:Must have the ability to travel by Boat or Helicopter to Offshore Platforms.
:Must have the capacity to pass HUET "Helicopter Underwater Egress Training".
:Must have the capacity to pass a US Coast Guard Approved Water Survival course.
