Cuero Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in our ICU/PACU department. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of the patients on his/her assigned unit during a given period of time. The RN is also responsible for the delegation and supervision of personnel assigned to him/her. The RN has the responsibility and accountability for prescribing, delegating and coordinating all nursing care provided in Intensive Care Unit/PACU/Day Surgery. Current ICU experience is preferred. Cuero Regional Hospital staff is committed to providing patient care with courtesy and respect while providing quality care close to home. Shifts: FT position available is for 7am to 7pm Several PRN positions available for various shifts The RN prescribes nursing care for patients based on the nursing process. The RN coordinates both the nursing care provided to patients and the nursing care provided in conjunction with therapies directed by other disciplines. Licensure and Certification Requirements: Current Texas RN License Current BLS Current ACLS & PALS (or obtained within 6 months of hire) Benefits: Cuero Health has an excellent health, supplemental benefits and retirement package. Our health insurance is with Allied and covers Cuero Regional Hospital at 100%. While if services are not provided at CRH, our PPO facilities are covered at 80% and as well as physicians in the PPO network are covered at 80%. The premium cost for employee only is $31.39, employee and children is $80.31, employee and spouse is $123.70 and family is $172.62 per pay period. Cuero Health also provides a $20,000 group life policy at no cost to the employee. Supplemental benefits include dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, short term disability, long term disability, accident and critical illness plans. Our retirement plans is a 401a with Lincoln Financial. Employees who meet eligibility requirements will receive 6.7% contributed into their 401a. Employees can contribute, but it is not required. We also have available to our employees 457 Deferred Compensation and 457 Roth plans. A 529 plan is available as well.
